Infrared Photography has characteristics that make it the best to use for special requirements.

Infrared photography uses films and imaging devices that are sensitive to both the light we can see and some of the longer wavelength (above 700 nm) infra-red radiation. The film is also sensitive in the UV region (below 400 nm). There are many scientific uses for such films which include aerial crop, archeological and forest surveys as well as forensic applications. The film is also used in the restoration and investigation of paintings and other documents.
